Application Administrator, Salesforce

About the role

The Application Administrator, Salesforce is responsible for the ongoing administration, technical support, and strategic evolution of UBC’s Salesforce ecosystem, which includes both the Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) platform and Marketing Cloud.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and configure Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud environments.
• Elicit, analyze, and validate business requirements to guide platform enhancements.
• Collaborate with product owners and development teams to define technical direction and rollout new features.
• Provision and manage system infrastructure, ensuring compliance with data security policies.
• Monitor platform health, performance, and security, addressing issues proactively.

Required profile

• Subject‑matter expert in Salesforce administration and Marketing Cloud.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams, including IT, academic units, and external vendors.
• Strong analytical skills to translate business objectives into technical solutions.
