Accountant – Manage Balance Sheets & Supervise Team

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Accountant to join our finance team. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing a small team, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
• Plan, set up, and administer accounting systems.
• Supervise and train a team of 3‑4 staff members.
• Arrange ongoing training for accounting personnel.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
• Recommend improvements to accounting processes and management practices.
• Develop and maintain cost reporting and internal control procedures.
• Examine accounting records and keep financial records up to date.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 1–2 years of professional accounting experience.
• Experience supervising a small team (3‑4 people).

Required skills

• Proficiency with manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
