About the role
We are seeking an Accountant to join our finance team, reporting to the Finance Manager. The role involves managing full-cycle bookkeeping, handling accounts receivable and payable, and supporting month-end and year-end processes.
Key responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping including A/P, A/R, bank transactions, reconciliations, expense reports and HST filings.
- Prepare and distribute monthly client invoices, maintain billing contacts and set up new clients.
- Serve as primary contact for billing inquiries, process vendor payments, manage vendor onboarding and support collections.
- Conduct A/R aging and cash-flow analyses and assist in preparing management reports for executive decision-making.
- Collaborate on ad-hoc financial projects and provide support to the CFO and Finance Manager.
- Assist with year-end audit preparation by gathering required documentation.
Required profile
- University degree in Business, Commerce or Accounting.
- 2+ years of progressive full-cycle accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Strong organizational abilities and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Professional communication skills and high level of confidentiality.
Required skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP system.
