Accountant – Commercial & Corporate Controllership

About the role

Insight Global is seeking an Accountant to join the Commercial and Corporate Controllership team of a major bank. The role ensures the integrity of financial and management information used for reporting and business analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain data integrity of the general ledger and investigate discrepancies.
• Oversee month‑end reconciliation processes and support quarter‑ and year‑end closing.
• Prepare and post journal entries, perform financial analysis, and contribute to GL closing each month.
• Support ad‑hoc reporting requirements and project initiatives.

Required profile

• 3+ years of accounting experience in financial‑service institutions (Big 4, banks, or similar).
• Current CPA accreditation or equivalent, with strong knowledge of IFRS standards.
• Experience with capital‑markets products (lending, interest, fees) is a plus.
• Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, or ACBS banking systems is desirable.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (formulas, VBA, macros).
• Proficiency in SAP or Oracle financial modules.
• Knowledge of ACBS (Advanced Commercial Banking System).
• Strong understanding of IFRS accounting standards.
• Experience with capital‑markets product accounting.
