About the role
We are seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to lead a busy workshop within a well‑established plant and tool hire business. You will ensure that all hire equipment is maintained to the highest standards and ready for customer use.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the workshop.
- Manage servicing, maintenance and repair of hire equipment.
- Prepare equipment for customer hire and ensure availability.
- Support, motivate and develop workshop staff.
- Maintain high health and safety standards.
- Liaise with the hire desk and other internal departments.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a Workshop Supervisor.
- Strong background in general tool hire or plant hire.
- Good mechanical knowledge.
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Residence within easy commuting distance of Edmonton/North London.

What we offer
- Competitive salary range of £39,000‑£40,000 per year.
