About the role
ABB is hiring two Wiring Assemblers in Saint-Laurent. The role covers reading industrial drawings and wiring distribution and control panels, as well as assembling and installing components in electrical cabinets.
Key responsibilities
- Interpret industrial drawings, electrical diagrams and mechanical plans
- Use cutting machines, if needed, on metal profiles for high-power system structures
- Assemble structures from pre-drilled steel profiles
- Assemble subassemblies for distribution panels and control panels
- Wire distribution panels and control panels
- Install bus bars in the enclosure that carries high-voltage current
- Install and connect power components such as rectifier bridges and transformers in electrical cabinets
Required profile
- Vocational diploma in electronics, electrical engineering, electromechanics, cable assembly or avionics
- 5 years of experience desirable
- Good command of French and English

- Ability to work autonomously
