Web Content Coordinator

About the role

Linen Chest, a Canadian retailer of bedding, bath, kitchen and home décor products, is growing its e-commerce team. Reporting to the Web Content Manager, the Web Content Coordinator ensures the quality of product content (photos, names and descriptions) and publishes products on the company website. The role suits someone with strong attention to detail and a keen interest in product imagery and online presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Control the quality of images for the website and act as a reference for visual standards, applying established guidelines, training and best practices.
• Work with the Web Content team to improve product presentation and publish more products, including regular inventory and dropship items.
• Help continuously improve product image creation, optimization and quality-control processes.
• Take photos of products and their features following a protocol, without specialized photography skills.
• Use dedicated AI image tools to optimize photos so they meet quality and visual standards.
• Publish products online, making sure new product pages meet customer needs and that product information is accurate and easy to understand.
• Research additional information or images as needed.
• Communicate with internal and external partners to keep content consistent and high quality across the company.

Required profile

• Bilingual: excellent written communication in English and French (essential).
• Excellent knowledge of French grammar and syntax (essential).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines when necessary.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Excel.
• Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT to speed up product publishing is an asset.
