Warehouse Support

About the role

Graybar Canada is seeking a Warehouse Support team member for its New Glasgow, NS branch. The role focuses on assisting daily warehouse operations, including order picking, shipping, receiving, and truck loading/unloading. This is an entry‑level, full‑time position with a stable schedule and no evening or weekend shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in picking orders, shipping and receiving, and loading/unloading trucks.
• Read purchase orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, or shipped.
• Operate a forklift after completing Graybar‑provided training.
• Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins.
• Participate in physical inventory counts.
• Maintain an organized, orderly work area at all times.
• Wear required safety equipment and follow safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 education.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lb (light to moderate lifting).
• Interest in progressing within the organization.
• Willingness to wear proper safety equipment.

Required skills

• Forklift operation (training provided).
• Basic computer proficiency.
