About the role
The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee daily warehouse operations for a retail furniture and appliances store in Kamloops. You will coordinate with other departments, manage inventory, and ensure efficient logistics while leading a small team.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate activities with other work units and departments.
- Prepare and submit operational reports.
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend productivity improvements.
- Recruit, hire and train staff on duties and policies.
- Assign, review and supervise the work of 3‑4 employees.
- Requisition, order and manage materials, equipment and supplies.
- Organize and maintain inventory, establish work schedules and procedures.
- Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation (high school diploma).
- 1–2 years of experience in warehouse or logistics supervision.
- Excellent oral communication, good judgement and strong organization.
- Reliable team player who is proactive and detail‑oriented.
- Ability to handle weights up to 9 kg in a fast‑paced environment.
