Warehouse Material Handler

About the role

Join a fifth‑generation family‑owned electrical distributor as a Material Handler in our Terrace branch. You will keep the warehouse organized, support sales and customers, and ensure smooth product flow from receiving to shipping.

Key responsibilities

• Generate pick tickets, gather materials, and operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners.
• Pack, weigh, label shipments, prepare bills of lading, and coordinate pickups.
• Unload deliveries, verify stock against manifests, update inventory, and manage returns.
• Conduct cycle counts, maintain FIFO rotation, and handle bin relocations.
• Keep the warehouse clean, assemble/disassemble storage units, and report hazards.
• Assist sales with priority orders, provide stock availability updates, and help customers with loading.

Required profile

• High school completion.
• Computer literacy and ability to learn new software.
• Basic math skills for mental calculations.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lb and stand/move for 6+ hours daily.
• Inclusive, collaborative, and respectful attitude.
