Warehouse Associate – Logistics Support

About the role

Bureau Veritas Canada is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support sample handling and material movement in a fast‑paced laboratory environment. The role involves loading, unloading, logging, and storing samples while ensuring safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Load, unload and move samples and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment.
• Operate loaders and other equipment to transport materials to and from transportation vehicles and loading docks.
• Log and store samples into LIMS according to standard procedures.
• Respond to client requests for disposal and returns, performing quality checks.
• Maintain lab supply requirements and transport samples/rejects to warehouse storage.

Required profile

• Minimum high school education.
• Valid Class 5 BC driver’s licence.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong organization, time‑management and attention to detail.
• Ability to safely perform physically demanding tasks, lifting up to 50 lb.

Required skills

• Forklift operation (ticket or company‑provided training).
• Hazardous goods handling and transportation.
• Use of LIMS for sample logging.
• Operation and maintenance of material‑handling equipment.
