Warehouse Associate

About the role

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for managing the flow of inventory through receiving, processing, storing, and shipping. This role ensures that shipments are prepared accurately and on schedule while maintaining detailed records and supporting loss prevention.

Key responsibilities

• Determine the most efficient method of shipment, applying knowledge of shipping procedures and rates.
• Create daily shipping reports, generate picking slips, and file all paperwork appropriately.
• Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments; reject damaged items and record shortages.
• Utilize RF scanners for precise order picking and put‑away tasks.
• Maintain accurate daily logs of inventory movements and conduct regular inventory counts.
• Load and unload trucks promptly, coordinating with vendors and drivers.
• Track, trace, and update the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Keep the warehouse clean, break down boxes for recycling, and follow safety procedures.

Required profile

• High attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
