Procurement & Purchasing Coordinator

About the role

The Procurement & Purchasing Coordinator will join the Supply Chain team to manage procurement, purchasing and logistics activities that support Chrysos' global deployment, maintenance and business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Raise, manage and track purchase orders through the spares management system, ensuring accuracy and policy compliance.
• Source, evaluate and onboard new suppliers, obtain quotes, conduct market analysis and manage supplier agreements.
• Monitor supplier performance, resolve quality, delivery or cost issues and maintain effective relationships.
• Prepare RFQs, assist in tendering activities and analyze purchasing expenditure for cost optimisation.
• Coordinate logistics, arrange shipments with freight forwarders and ensure timely availability of parts at operational sites.
• Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier data in ERP systems and produce regular reports on activity and spending.
• Support ESG initiatives, safety compliance and act as the first point of contact for purchasing requests.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in procurement, purchasing and logistics within a global supply chain environment.
• Knowledge of import/export procedures and related documentation such as Certificates of Conformity.
• Data‑driven approach with ability to analyse purchasing and inventory data.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills with a customer‑service orientation.
• Canadian working rights.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Slack.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
