About the role
Our client, a fast‑growing global confectionery company, is seeking a Vice President of Sales for Canada. This newly created, high‑visibility position will report directly to global leadership and will be responsible for building the Canadian business from the ground up.
Key responsibilities
- Own and execute the Canadian sales strategy.
- Grow existing retail partnerships with major national accounts.
- Expand SKU listings and improve in‑store execution.
- Build a scalable direct and distributor route‑to‑market model.
- Open new channels, including regional retail and wholesale.
- Partner closely with global HQ leadership.
- Help build the local team and infrastructure over time.
Required profile
- 8+ years of CPG/FMCG sales leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of the Canadian retail landscape.
- Experience with major accounts such as Walmart, Costco, Loblaw, Sobeys, Dollarama, or similar.
- Proven success growing accounts and opening new channels.
- Entrepreneurial, hands‑on mindset comfortable in a high‑growth environment.
