VP of Operations – High‑Growth DTC Lifestyle Brand (Remote)

About the role

This is a builder position reporting directly to the CEO of a fast‑scaling direct‑to‑consumer lifestyle brand. You will own all operational functions outside of marketing, from sourcing and manufacturing to fulfillment and customer experience, with a clear path toward a future COO role.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate and secure Net 60 (or better) payment terms with manufacturers and supply‑chain partners.
• Lead end‑to‑end operations covering sourcing, manufacturing, inventory, preorder management, logistics, fulfillment, and customer support.
• Design and implement scalable operational systems, processes, and infrastructure to support rapid growth.
• Oversee inventory planning, demand forecasting, production scheduling, and preorder execution.
• Continuously optimize manufacturing, freight, warehousing, and fulfillment costs through vendor management.
• Develop strategic relationships with manufacturers, logistics providers, freight forwarders, and fulfillment partners.
• Build, lead, and develop high‑performing Operations and Customer Experience teams.
• Evaluate and implement operational technologies, including ERP and inventory‑management systems, and create reporting dashboards and KPIs.
• Support international supply‑chain operations and cross‑border fulfillment as the business expands.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading operations in a high‑growth DTC or consumer‑goods environment.
• Demonstrated ability to design systems and processes that scale multiple‑fold.
• Strong negotiation skills with manufacturers and logistics partners.
• Track record of building and managing high‑performing teams.
• Comfort operating in a high‑accountability, fast‑paced setting.
