Vice President, Finance

About the role

Genuine Comfort is seeking a Vice President, Finance to lead its financial strategy as the company scales its operations across North America. Reporting to the President, you will act as a strategic partner on the executive team, shaping both day‑to‑day performance and long‑term growth plans.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a financial strategy that supports rapid, profitable growth.
• Provide financial leadership for critical business decisions, cash‑flow optimization, and capital allocation.
• Oversee the accounting function while strengthening FP&A, performance intelligence, and capital strategy.
• Position Finance as a forward‑looking decision engine that influences corporate strategy and enterprise value.
• Build and operate a robust financial engine, ensuring disciplined reporting and accountability across the organization.

Required profile

• Executive‑level finance experience in a high‑growth environment.
• Proven ability to act as both a strategic architect and a hands‑on operator.
• Strong partnership skills with senior leadership and board members.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Winnipeg four days per week, with one remote day.
