Utilities Operator (D-1)

About the role

The Utilities Operator (D-1) is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the community’s wastewater collection, water distribution, and dam systems. This full‑time, permanent role supports the health, safety, and environmental standards of the TteS Reserve.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the Wastewater Collection System (WWCS) and Water Distribution System (WDS) using SCADA interfaces.
• Perform routine sampling, laboratory testing, and data recording for both water and wastewater networks.
• Maintain pumps, valves, motors, and supervisory controls; conduct preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Clear system stoppages, manage root intrusion, grease, odors, and corrosion issues.
• Prepare and submit operational reports, logbook entries, and annual asset management documentation.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety procedures for staff, visitors, and contractors.
