Forestry Manager - Kamloops

About the role

Integrated ProAction (IPAC) is expanding its team of experienced forest professionals and is hiring a Forestry Manager in Kamloops. The role suits a self-starter who can manage projects independently from start to finish and supervise and mentor junior staff. It is not an entry-level or training position, and previous proven contract management is an asset.

Key responsibilities

• Manage projects independently and supervise and mentor junior staff
• Contract management
• Field quality assurance
• Final preparation of deliverables for various clients
• Most work is based in the Kamloops region, with occasional travel to remote sites

Required profile

• Registered as an RPF or RFT in British Columbia (a late-stage trainee with significant experience may be considered)
• Approximately 5+ years of relevant forestry experience
• Experience with Full Phase Forestry Development deliverables
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and teams with minimal supervision
• Ability to mentor and train junior staff
• Immediate ability to contribute; not a development or training role
