Land Agent – Contract (Central/South BC)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Land Agent on a contract basis to represent Canada West Land in Central and South British Columbia, handling land acquisition and stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with landowners and stakeholders, negotiate acquisition agreements and execute related documents.
• Audit acquisition paperwork, prepare consultation records, and maintain accurate contact and land status records.
• Provide daily reporting to management, support field work across disciplines, and communicate effectively with clients.
• Stay informed on regulatory, legislative, construction, farming, and environmental requirements, and apply AI tools to improve productivity.
• Follow health and safety policies, use PPE, report hazards, and promote a safety culture.

Required profile

• Grade 12 or equivalent with post‑secondary education; experience in farming, sales or construction is an asset.
• Land Agent’s License (or interim) preferred; Commissioner for Oaths preferred or obtainable.
• Class 5 driver’s licence and ability to travel regularly across the region.
