Undergraduate Programs Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an Undergraduate Programs Coordinator to manage the administrative functions of the Economics undergraduate programs at the Vancouver School of Economics. The role supports admissions, timetable representation, and the academic success of roughly 1,000 domestic and international students.

Key responsibilities

• Process admissions applications, interpret transcripts, and coordinate offers for majors, minors, honours and combined majors.
• Maintain the Python‑based admission system, identify improvements and troubleshoot issues.
• Act as the timetable representative for ECON courses and liaise with faculty, staff and external partners.
• Prepare annual statistical reports on admissions and contribute to recruitment strategies.
• Provide administrative support to Directors of Undergraduate Studies, Honours Advisor and other faculty advisors.
• Train and supervise the Undergraduate Programs Assistant.

Required profile

• Experience working in higher‑education administration or student services.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, faculty and external stakeholders.

Required skills

• Python (for admission system maintenance).
