About the role
The Undergraduate Course Assistant will support PHGY 314, a physiology course, by attending lectures and providing timely assistance to students through online discussion boards, a Facebook group, and email. This term‑based position offers practical teaching experience for third‑year undergraduates.
Key responsibilities
- Attend all scheduled PHGY 314 lectures.
- Respond to student inquiries on the myCourses discussion board, Facebook group, and email.
- Coordinate with the Course Coordinator before each lecture to clarify responsibilities and topics.
- Maintain a professional and supportive online presence for the course.
Required profile
- Enrolled as a third‑year undergraduate student.
- Minimum grade of A‑ in PHGY 314.
- Proficient in written and spoken English; French is a plus.
- Authorized to work in Canada and willing to work on the McGill campus in Quebec.
