Truck Mechanic – Commercial Transport Maintenance

About the role
We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team in Winnipeg, maintaining and repairing our commercial transport trucks and trailers. The role involves hands‑on work in a fast‑paced workshop environment, ensuring vehicles meet safety and performance standards.
Key responsibilities
- Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of truck and trailer systems.
- Inspect mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
- Perform scheduled maintenance services and test units to specifications.
- Estimate parts and labour costs for maintenance and repairs.
- Document work performed and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation (high school diploma).
- 1–2 years of experience repairing commercial trucks or heavy‑vehicle equipment.
- Ability to work early mornings, evenings, days, or weekends as required.
- Strong hand‑eye coordination, attention to detail, and reliability.
- Own steel‑toed safety boots.
