Truck Drivers Supervisor

About the role

The Truck Drivers Supervisor will lead a team of drivers to ensure safe, efficient, and on‑time delivery of freight. Based in Calgary, this role combines operational oversight with continuous improvement of work methods.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare production and operational reports to track performance.
• Recommend and implement measures to improve work methods, productivity, and product quality.
• Resolve day‑to‑day work problems, providing technical advice to drivers.
• Train drivers or arrange for external training as needed.
• Monitor and operate signal and track‑switch control panels.
• Recommend personnel actions and coordinate repairs, rentals, and equipment maintenance.
• Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate (high school).
• 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience in logistics or transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to operational demands.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Access.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
