About the role
We are seeking a reliable truck driver to join Little Big Recycling in Calgary. The role involves loading and unloading goods, inspecting the vehicle, and maintaining accurate records.
Key responsibilities
- Load and unload goods.
- Inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment; perform brake adjustments.
- Conduct pre‑trip, en‑route and post‑trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle.
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- Class 1 (or A) driver’s licence.
- No prior experience required – training provided.
- Efficient interpersonal skills and excellent oral communication.
- Flexibility to adapt to schedule changes.
