Truck Driver – Full‑time Permanent Position

About the role

We are looking for a reliable truck driver to join Fourwinds Freight System Inc. on a full‑time permanent basis. The role involves transporting goods across Ontario while ensuring safety, efficiency and excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and adjust routes using GPS and other navigation tools to minimise fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
• Drive tractor‑trailer trucks, either solo or as part of a two‑person team, delivering cargo safely.
• Conduct pre‑trip, en‑route and post‑trip inspections, including brakes, tires, lights and cold‑storage equipment.
• Perform emergency roadside repairs and brake adjustments as needed.
• Record cargo details, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel usage.
• Handle customer complaints, tarp cargo and ensure its security.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation.
• Valid AZ class licence with Air Brake (Z) endorsement.
• 1‑to‑7 months of truck‑driving experience.
• Ability to work large workloads and flexible hours.

Required skills

• GPS navigation operation.
• Tractor‑trailer vehicle handling.
