Truck Driver – Full‑time Permanent Position

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Truck Driver to join our Edmonton team on a full‑time, permanent basis. You will be responsible for safely transporting goods using straight or articulated trucks while ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload goods, secure cargo with tarps, belts, and safety bars.
• Operate straight or articulated trucks, including cold‑storage equipment.
• Conduct pre‑trip, en‑route, and post‑trip inspections of tires, lights, brakes, and other vehicle components.
• Perform brake adjustments, preventive maintenance, and emergency roadside repairs.
• Record cargo details, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.
• Prepare and manage documentation such as bills of lading, driver logbooks, and incident reports.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation (high school diploma).
• 1 to less than 2 years of truck driving experience.
• Valid AZ class licence with Air Brake (Z) endorsement and Class 1 or A driver’s licence.
• Ability to handle heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lb) and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety and environmental best practices.
