About the role
We are seeking a Fleet Supervisor to oversee our trucking operations in Edmonton. The role involves supervising drivers, coordinating routes, and ensuring safety and productivity.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare production and other reports.
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Supervise workers and projects, overseeing 3‑4 staff members.
- Dispatch drivers, monitor routes and coordinate scheduling activities.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
- Coordinate repairs, rentals and requisition of materials, equipment and supplies.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- Class 1/1F/A licence (semi‑trailer trucks) and a valid driver’s licence.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in trucking or transportation.
- Ability to work outdoors and supervise a team.
- Personal qualities: flexibility, organization, teamwork, leadership and strong ethics.
