Truck Driver – Full‑time

About the role

Atlas Landscaping Inc is seeking a reliable truck driver to join its Edmonton team. You will work as part of a two‑person convoy, handling a variety of lighter, special‑purpose trucks to transport goods and materials for the company’s landscaping projects.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate repair costs and order new parts when necessary.
• Address customer complaints and concerns promptly.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring safe handling of heavy loads.
• Operate straight and articulated trucks, perform brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs.
• Conduct pre‑trip, en‑route, and post‑trip inspections and record cargo details, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
• Manage payments for goods and maintain accurate paperwork.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation.
• 1–2 years of relevant driving experience.
• Ability to work physically demanding, repetitive tasks and sit for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability and teamwork orientation.

Required skills

• Truck operation (straight and articulated).
• Brake adjustment.
• Roadside repairs.
• Vehicle inspection.
• Load and unload handling.
