Truck Driver – Full-time Permanent

About the role
Join Maverick HP Logistics Inc. as a full‑time truck driver based in Calgary. You will operate as part of a two‑person team or convoy, delivering goods safely across various locations.
Key responsibilities
- Drive assigned routes while adhering to safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper tarping and security.
- Perform brake adjustments and preventive maintenance.
- Conduct pre‑trip, en‑route, and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
- Execute emergency roadside repairs when needed.
- Record cargo details, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.
Required profile
- Valid Class 1 (or A) driver’s licence.
- Ability to handle loads up to 13.5 kg (30 lb).
- Own steel‑toed safety boots.
- No prior experience required – training provided.
