About the role
We are looking for a reliable truck driver to join Hajran Trucking Ltd. in Edmonton. The role involves operating lighter and special‑purpose trucks, delivering goods safely, and providing professional customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Drive lighter and special‑purpose trucks, including semi‑trailers, to transport goods.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of loads.
- Conduct pre‑trip, en‑route, and post‑trip inspections of vehicle components such as tires, lights, brakes, and cold‑storage equipment.
- Perform emergency roadside repairs and preventive maintenance as needed.
- Maintain vehicle condition by regularly checking and servicing equipment.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- Valid Class 1/1F/A licence (or Class 1/A driver’s licence) for semi‑trailer trucks.
- Experience in truck driving is an asset.
