About the role
Ingersoll Transport is looking for a Truck Dispatcher to coordinate vehicle operators, manage shipments, and ensure compliance with cross‑border and highway regulations. The position is based in Ingersoll, ON and involves both office duties and direct interaction with drivers and customers.
Key responsibilities
- Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders.
- Provide customer service and follow up on work‑order issues.
- Track shipments, record mileage, fuel use, repairs and other expenses.
- Maintain vehicle operator work records and schedule assignments.
- Perform general office duties and coordinate activities of crews and equipment.
Required profile
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Organized, reliable and a team player.
- Criminal record check required.
- Capability to perform repetitive tasks.
Required skills
- Dispatch management service software.
- Monitoring and tracking software.
- Spreadsheet applications.
- Internet usage.
