About the role
We are seeking a skilled Truck and Coach Technician to join our team in North York. You will work in a fast‑paced, outdoor environment maintaining and repairing commercial transport trucks and coaches.
Key responsibilities
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial truck, coach and truck‑trailer systems.
- Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults, perform diagnostic testing and verify findings with a supervisor.
- Perform scheduled maintenance services and test repaired systems to manufacturer specifications.
- Estimate parts and labour costs and complete detailed work reports.
- Coach and instruct apprentices on proper repair techniques.
Required profile
- Accurate, dependable and punctual with strong client focus.
- Ability to work in dusty, noisy, hot outdoor conditions and stand for extended periods.
- Good hand‑eye coordination, manual dexterity and attention to detail.
Required skills
- Mechanical inspection and diagnostic testing of vehicle systems.
- Repair and maintenance of truck, coach and trailer components.
- Estimating parts and labour costs for vehicle repairs.
