About the role

The City of Winnipeg is seeking a Travel Trainer (Community Relations Representative) to educate the public on using Winnipeg Transit. Working under the Accessibility Coordinator, you will employ a variety of IT tools, social media platforms, and interactive activities to enhance community engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver educational content about Winnipeg Transit services.
• Utilise social media and digital platforms to reach diverse audiences.
• Organise and facilitate interactive community events and workshops.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and accessibility.
• Collect feedback and report on community outreach effectiveness.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills with an ability to engage the public.
• Experience in community outreach or public education.
