About the role
The City of Winnipeg is seeking a Travel Trainer (Community Relations Representative) to educate the public on using Winnipeg Transit. Working under the Accessibility Coordinator, you will employ a variety of IT tools, social media platforms, and interactive activities to enhance community engagement.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and deliver educational content about Winnipeg Transit services.
- Utilise social media and digital platforms to reach diverse audiences.
- Organise and facilitate interactive community events and workshops.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and accessibility.
- Collect feedback and report on community outreach effectiveness.
Required profile
- Strong communication skills with an ability to engage the public.
- Experience in community outreach or public education.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion principles.
