About the role
We are seeking a Transportation Logistics Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the operational logistics of our trucking company in Surrey, BC. The role involves planning, organizing, and ensuring smooth operation of equipment and processes to support efficient transportation services.
Key responsibilities
- Organize tasks to accomplish the work.
- Oversee operational logistics of the organization.
- Plan and organize operational logistics of the organization.
- Coordinate activities with other work units or departments.
- Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery.
- Arrange for maintenance and repair work.
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Train workers in duties and policies.
- Conduct performance reviews.
- Coordinate, assign and review work.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies.
Required profile
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 2 years in logistics or related field.
- Availability: Evening, Morning, Day, Flexible hours.
