About the role
We are looking for a skilled Transport Truck Trailer Mechanic to join our team in Mississauga. You will work on commercial trucks and trailers, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently in a demanding, outdoor environment.
Key responsibilities
- Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck and trailer systems.
- Inspect and test mechanical units, including motors in operation, to locate faults and malfunctions.
- Perform scheduled maintenance services on trucks and trailers.
- Review work orders and follow prescribed procedures.
- Discuss findings and repair plans with supervisors and advise customers on completed work and future maintenance needs.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 2 to less than 3 years of experience repairing truck and trailer mechanical systems.
- Ability to work in dusty, dirty, noisy outdoor environments.
- Strong attention to detail for fault diagnosis.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with supervisors and customers.
