Transit Dispatcher (Full-Time) – London, ON

About the role

The Transit Dispatcher will join Voyago’s London operations team to manage daily driver schedules, ensure timely service, and maintain safety standards. This full‑time, on‑site role involves constant communication with drivers and coordination with management.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule new bookings and coordinate any changes with drivers.
• Use radio equipment to communicate effectively with drivers on route.
• Monitor driver punctuality to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Generate and pull a variety of reports as directed by management.
• Answer phone calls and email correspondence in a professional manner.
• Take responsibility for the Emergency Response Plan in case of serious collisions.
• Assist with scheduling vehicle maintenance as required.

Required profile

• Previous dispatch experience in transportation or a service‑industry setting.
• Comfortable using radio equipment for two‑way communication.
• Strong time‑management and organizational abilities.
• Physically able to climb stairs when needed.
• Clean criminal record and good geographic knowledge of the London area.
• Availability for rotating afternoon shifts (2:00 PM – 1:00 AM) as outlined.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
