Training Coordinator – Distribution Center

About the role

The Training Coordinator will support employee development and operational excellence within Simons' Distribution Center. Working closely with Operations, Human Resources, and frontline teams, you will ensure continuous knowledge transfer, best‑practice adoption, and high performance across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Assess training needs in collaboration with Distribution Center leadership.
• Coordinate and organize training activities across all departments in partnership with operational teams.
• Facilitate targeted training sessions based on operational requirements.
• Develop, update, and enhance training materials, operational guides, and internal communications tools.
• Lead new‑employee orientation and onboarding activities, including departmental tours.
• Monitor employee training progress and maintain up‑to‑date skills matrices for hourly and salaried staff.
• Measure training effectiveness using KPIs and prepare monthly reports and analyses.
• Conduct floor audits and recommend continuous‑improvement initiatives related to work methods and processes.

Required profile

• Previous experience creating training content and learning materials.
• Degree or diploma in Organizational Development, Education, Adult Learning, Human Resources, or a related field (asset).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration abilities.
• Comfortable facilitating training sessions and speaking in front of groups.
• Proactive, autonomous, and initiative‑driven attitude.
• Excellent verbal and written French communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
