Tower Operator

About the role

Westminster Toyota is seeking a motivated Tower Operator to manage the flow of work in our service department. You will act as the central hub for dispatching jobs to technicians, ensuring efficient operations and high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Dispatch work to technicians based on skill level and shop capacity.
• Monitor technician productivity and workflow throughout the day.
• Prioritize repair orders and ensure they are completed on schedule.
• Coordinate with Service Advisors, Parts Department, and the Technician Team.
• Manage shop loading and balance work distribution.
• Assist the Service Manager with daily operational needs and support the internal Service Advisor training program.
• Track turnaround times, identify bottlenecks, and propose improvements.

Required profile

• Pleasant, organized, and professional demeanor.
• Experience as a Tower Operator, Dispatcher, or Shop Foreman preferred.
• Previous dealership or automotive service experience is an asset.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure in a high‑volume environment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Required skills

• Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds or other dealership DMS.
• Strong understanding of automotive service operations.
