About the role

Tri-Star Metal Stampings Inc. is seeking an experienced Tool and Die Maker to join its manufacturing team in Newmarket. You will work in a noisy shop environment, setting up and adjusting equipment to produce high‑quality metal stamping tools.

Key responsibilities

Set up machine tools such as lathes, milling machines and grinders.
Position and adjust dies on the anvil of forging machinery.
Fabricate and maintain jigs, fixtures, and various types of dies including compound and progressive transfer dies.

Required profile

Ability to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
Strong manual dexterity, hand‑eye coordination and attention to detail.
Organized team player with at least 3‑5 years of relevant experience.

Required skills

Proficiency with lathes, milling machines and grinders.
Experience using gauges and measuring tools.
Knowledge of jigs, fixtures, metal‑cutting, forming and bending dies.
