About the role
The Tilesetters Foreman/Forewoman leads tile‑setting crews on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards. This role combines hands‑on technical work with supervision and coordination of staff.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare production and other reports.
- Supervise workers and projects, coordinate and schedule activities.
- Oversee apprenticeship training and recruit, hire, and train staff.
- Set up machines and equipment, read blueprints and drawings, and estimate costs and materials.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies.
Required profile
- 3 to 5 years of experience in tile installation or related construction work.
- Organized, reliable, and a strong team player able to work under pressure.
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
Required skills
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Estimating material and labor costs.
- Setting up and operating tile‑setting machines and equipment.
