Tile Installer – Commercial & Residential Projects

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Tile Installer to join our construction team in Bedford, NS. You will work on both commercial and residential projects, handling a variety of tile materials and finishes in a dusty work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, measure, and mark surfaces; mix and apply mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives.
• Set, align, and straighten tiles; cut and fit tiles around obstacles using hand and power tools.
• Pack grout into joints, remove excess, and replace cracked or damaged tiles.
• Lay and set mosaic tiles for decorative walls, murals, and floors.
• Build underbeds, install anchor bolts, wires, brackets, and polish marble or granite.
• Estimate material quantities and costs for each job.

Required profile

• 2 to less than 3 years of tile‑installation experience.
• Dependable, good judgement, reliable, and a strong team player.
• Physically capable of handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
• WHMIS Certificate and Fall Arrest Protection Training.
