Terminal Operator – Rail Yard Transload

About the role

Seaboard Bulk Terminals is seeking a Terminal Operator to join its Woodstock, Ontario rail‑to‑truck transloading facility. You will work outdoors in all seasons, supporting safe and efficient movement of rail cars while upholding the company’s strong safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Support rail yard operations, including marshalling and spotting rail cars.
• Load and offload rail cars in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Inspect rail cars, document findings, and report issues to the Terminal Manager.
• Perform daily housekeeping and light maintenance tasks.
• Participate in toolbox talks and follow established safety procedures.

Required profile

• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
• Ability to work independently and follow procedures.
• Willingness to learn and grow in the role.
• Physical capability to lift 40–60 lb, work outdoors, and work at heights.
• Rail, terminal, or transloading experience is an asset.
• Supervisory, lead‑hand, or mentoring experience is a plus.
