Terminal Manager – Whitehorse

About the role

The Terminal Manager will lead daily operations at Manitoulin Transport's Whitehorse terminal, ensuring efficient service delivery across the surrounding area. This role combines operational oversight with customer service and administrative duties.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day terminal activities, including customer service and administrative functions.
• Maintain health and safety standards and oversee facility and vehicle maintenance.
• Optimize equipment and personnel utilization to meet or exceed service standards.
• Monitor daily reports, coordinate work schedules, and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
• Partner with Human Resources on recruitment, training, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
• Operate a company truck as needed for operational tasks.

Required profile

• Class 1 driver’s licence (asset).
• Post‑secondary education (asset).
• Strong background in customer service.
• Experience in less‑than‑truckload (LTL) operations and labor management.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
