Water Transfer Technician – Alberta

About the role

Sideworx Connect is seeking experienced Water Transfer Technicians to join its roster in Alberta. In this role you will be responsible for moving water from source to site, ensuring safe and efficient delivery while adhering to client procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as pumps, crew trucks, filtration units and equipment trailers.
• Perform routine equipment inspections to confirm proper working condition.
• Follow all standard operating procedures and client‑provided regulations.
• Maintain a professional attitude, appearance and represent the company positively.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of water transfer experience.
• Mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of pumps and flow dynamics.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively to support a safe work environment.
• Pass a pre‑employment drug and alcohol test.

Required skills

• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean abstract.
• Current certification in First Aid, H2S Alive and CSO (TDG & WHMIS provided).
• 4×4 truck – 1‑ton diesel preferred with slip tank and transfer pump/hose hitch receiver.
• Proof of $5 million liability insurance.
