Telecommunications Technician

About the role

We are seeking skilled Telecommunications Technicians to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. The role involves working outdoors at various heights to install, inspect, and repair telecommunications equipment across aerial and underground networks.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and test cable signals and associated equipment.
• Repair cable signals and replace faulty cables, power supplies, and amplifiers.
• Diagnose and locate equipment faults, adjusting or repairing telecommunications hardware.
• Complete and maintain detailed test and service reports.
• Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders, or other support structures.
• Maintain and repair aerial and underground transmission systems.

Required profile

• College, CEGEP or equivalent 1‑2 year certificate/diploma in a related field.
• Relevant experience is an asset.
• Ability to work at heights and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and good manual dexterity.
