Technical Product Manager

About the role

Pixieset is looking for a technically fluent Product Manager to shape and deliver platform capabilities that support over one million photographers and creative professionals worldwide. You will work across two Platform engineering teams, turning complex technical problems into clear product decisions and practical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define product direction and own day‑to‑day execution for two Platform engineering teams.
• Translate complex technical problems into clear product decisions, priorities, and requirements.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering to understand constraints while keeping focus on customer and business needs.
• Break down ambiguous problems, synthesize input, and drive decisions forward.
• Break complex projects into milestones and incremental releases, balancing speed, scope, quality, and maintainability.
• Maintain visibility into project status, risks, dependencies, and upcoming milestones.

Required profile

• 2+ years of product management experience or equivalent experience delivering software products.
• Strong technical foundation gained through engineering, computer science, or hands‑on technical product work.
• Ability to understand software systems, technical constraints, and engineering trade‑offs without losing sight of the customer.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of distilling complexity into clear recommendations.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships across Engineering, Design, and senior stakeholders.
