Team Leader – Construction Services & Facility Management Coordinator

About the role

Defence Construction Canada is seeking a Team Leader for Construction Services and a Coordinator for Facility Management to join its Yellowknife team. Both positions support the delivery of infrastructure and environmental projects that protect Canada’s defence interests.

Key responsibilities

• Team Leader: Oversee a team that manages construction, professional services and service contracts.
• Team Leader: Facilitate contract‑related coordination and communication among stakeholders.
• Team Leader: Promote and manage business‑development opportunities and perform human‑resources functions.
• Coordinator: Administer contracts to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
• Coordinator: Support operations and maintenance of facilities, including regular inspections for safety, performance and asset integrity.
• Coordinator: Coordinate third‑party inputs into contracts and ensure client‑partner satisfaction.

Required profile

• Team Leader: College diploma in engineering, architecture or a related field with five years of relevant experience, or equivalent.
• Coordinator: College diploma in facility management or a related field with four years of relevant experience, or equivalent.

• Competitive salary range ($68,310 – $107,097 CAD per year, depending on the role).
