Team Lead - Mall Activation

About the role

Brand Momentum is seeking an energetic, outgoing and organized Team Lead to support an MGAE mall activation at CF Market Mall in Calgary. The Team Lead oversees and supports the Brand Ambassador team, helps manage inventory and ensures the activation runs smoothly while delivering an excellent shopper experience. This is a contract position, November 16 to November 30, 2026, with two daily shift options (Opening or Closing); full availability during the activation is required.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support the Brand Ambassador team, giving direction, assigning responsibilities and keeping the team engaged and professional
• Act as the on-site point of contact and relay updates or issues to the Field Supervisor
• Engage with shoppers and lead by example in a busy mall environment
• Manage inventory and assist with frequent restocking
• Assist with setup, teardown, loading, unloading and organization of event materials
• Drive a U-Haul or similar moving truck when required, and lift and move materials
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe and welcoming activation area and follow all event, safety, brand, mall and client guidelines

Required profile

• Previous leadership, Team Lead, supervisory or management experience required
• Previous retail, customer service, promotional or experiential marketing experience preferred
• Energetic, outgoing and confident approach to shoppers
• Reliable, professional, punctual and dependable
• Must be able to attend the mandatory virtual training on Tuesday, November 10th at 1:00 PM MT and commit to the activation dates

Required skills

• Strong communication, organization and customer service skills
• Comfortable driving a U-Haul or similar moving truck
• Comfortable lifting, moving materials and standing for long periods
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail/mall environment and with event setup and teardown
