About the role
Activate is looking for an energetic Team Lead to manage daily operations at its Winnipeg West store. Reporting to the Store Leader, you will create a lively atmosphere for guests, guide Game Facilitators, and ensure every game room runs smoothly.
Key responsibilities
- Answer phone calls and emails, troubleshoot booking issues, and secure reservations.
- Perform check‑in overrides, complete cash‑out sheets, process invoices and payments accurately.
- Resolve customer complaints, escalating to the Store Leader when necessary.
- Communicate room status and facility updates to staff and guests.
- Train new employees, coach team members, and delegate tasks throughout each shift.
- Maintain inventory, track maintenance needs, and coordinate cleaning or repairs.
Required profile
- 1‑2 years of experience in a similar customer‑facing or retail leadership role (preferred).
- Availability to work day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
- Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to keep the team motivated.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and staff.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
